Standards:
Flammability test is a simulated safety test item stipulated by IEC 60950: 1999, UL 94, IEC 707, IEC 695-2-2, ISO 1210: 1992 and other standards.
GB/T5169.16-2008/IEC60950-11-10:2003 "Fire Hazard Testing for Electric and Electronic Product Part 16 Test flame 50W horizontal and vertical flame test method".
GB/T5169.22-2015"Fire Hazard Testing for Electric and Electronic Product Part 22 Test flame 50W flame device and confirmation test method" UL94-2006 New version of the standard "Tests for Flammability of Plastic Material for Parts in Devices and Appliances Flammability" test for cargo foam of HB, V-0, V-2, 5V, HF-1, HBF grade materials".
Purpose of the test:
The combustibility test is performed by using a specified Bunsen burner and a specific gas source (methane or natural gas) to ignite the specimen in a horizontal or vertical state for several times at a certain flame height and at a certain flame angle, and the combustibility of the specimen is evaluated by the duration of ignition and burning as well as the ignition of the igniting materials under the specimen.
Scope of test:
Fire protection enclosure for standing equipment; materials placed in fire protection enclosure; flammability rating of V-0, V-1, V-2, HB, 5V, HF-1, HF-2, HBF class materials or foam. It is applicable to the research, production and quality inspection departments of electrical and electronic products and their component parts such as lighting equipment, low-voltage electrical appliances, household appliances, machine tools, motors, power tools, electronic instruments, electrical meters, information technology equipment, electrical service equipment, electrical connectors and accessories, etc. It is also applicable to the industry of insulating materials, engineering plastics or other solid combustible materials.
Specification Performance:
Lamps: Bunsen burner tube diameter 9.5mm ± 0.5mm Approx. 100mm upward from the main air inlet or inlet.
Bunsen burnout shape: round burnout and stainless steel fishtail burnout (replaceable)
Light test angle: 0°, 20°, 45° for quick positioning, maximum stroke about 150mm.
Gas application: 98% methane gas (reference gas), 37MJ/m3 ±1MJ/m3 natural gas can also be used.
Application and removal time: 1s ~ 999.9s (digital preset)
Hold burning time: 1s ~ 999.9s ( digital display can not be preset )
The number of times a burn is repeated: 1 to 9999 times (the display can be preset).
Volume of test area: 0.75m 3 Black background.
